Anxious or Anxiety...I Blame It On....

The coffee.....

Keep Calm and Carry On!

Or the fact I have no aspirations of working on another quilt with a deadline!
But I know if I do not tackle it, that deadline will be here before I know it.
What can I say I have no one to blame but me and I am the one who signed up for it so it must get done.
But no.....I just want to goof off ans sew my little ole heart out on projects that have calling me and saying make me instead!

So I gave in to the noise and so far I have curated one little pink bundle of anxiety!!!!

Also just a random blurt.... I so love this mug!
Along with I so love T.J. Maxx!

Keep Calm

And Target too!!!
[That's a whole other story about Target]

Planning and plotting

Speaking of loving Target!
I got some inspiration from another Target lover (I only know this because she writes about it... a lot) Ms. V. of V&Co, who has this pattern for sale and I did my own spin on it in a miniature size!

V&Co inspired!

To be honest, this little heart is (the pink bundle) causing me the anxiety and not the coffee or the deadline!
Its a short but long story, and I'll leave it at that.

I will say its enough to want to make me pull my hair out!!!!

Instead I rather share some good news!!!!

The good news is that my daughter's baby brother was born on the 20th.
He is happy and healthy!
Oh, we also got the baby's rag quilt finished on the same day he was born!
What timing.... hun.... I know!
Pictures soon to come of the quilt!

Sorry, love to share pics of the baby but he is not my kid!!!

I don't think my ex and his wife would appreciate that!

In the mean time I'll leave you with a song my hubby referenced a few days ago, and it has been on my mind and going through my mind ever since.

Not to mention it is a song that my dad used to play when my sister and I were very little.

Take care all!

Hi Jennifer!
I hear that's what happens when you try to do a hobby you love for someone else. There's always a deadline, it becomes a chore, you don't have time to just do it for yourself and it isn't enjoyable anymore. Don't get burned out!

Thanks Chris! Yeah, I am a bit burned out but I decided to put the deadline project aside for a tiny bit to blow off some steam. May be I will feel it next week!
