Help! I Need Your Opinion Please!!!

Plain little Dress

Last week as I had mentioned in my last SCS Sunday Post that one of the ladies from my quilt guild had brought in some fabrics that she no longer wanted. In that huge pile was this very cheerful print in which is now a little dress. I love how this little dress is turning out but I need your help please!

I just needed a few thoughts and opinions of the finishing touches that I have left to do. Here are five options that I have conjured up and if you could please let me know which one looks the best!!!

Option #1

Is just adding a rick rack sashing to the bodice of the dress and leaving the bottom of the skirt as is.

Would you believe that when I asked my husband what he thought of it, he actually said that he like it. Whoa nellie, that was a big surprise. I guess its better than asking if I look fat in something...hun?!?!

Option #1

Option #2

With keeping the sashing and adding the more rick rack to the bottom of the skirt by placing it at the print divide?

Option # 2

Option #3

Still keeping the sashing and moving the bottom rick rack off the print line and onto the poke a dots.

Option #3

Option #4

Again keeping the sashing where it is at and this time taking the bottom portion of the rick rack and placing it behind the skirt.
*Personally I am leaning towards this option, but I just wanted to know your opinion on all the options!

Option #4

Option #5

Leaving the dress as it is! Yep, just leaving it plain as is!

Option #5

Thanks every one! I would love to hear what you think and what your opinions are!

Such a darling little dress, I like it without the rick rack.

I like either the rick rack at just the waist or at the waist and under the hem. Really cute! If you add it to the waist you may want to tack both sides down so it doesn't "roll".

This is a beautiful little dress as is. If you add rick rack to the waist make sure to sew it so it does not flip up. So very nice! I'd love to make one for my granddaughter.

It's so cute, I don't think you can go wrong! I like 2 and 4 the best though!

So cute! I love option 6: just using the rick rack under the hem (option 4 but without the rick rack belt).

Cute little dress. Of your 5 choices I would choose #4, but I agree with #6 just the rickrack behind the hem.
