Keep on rolling is what I have to tell myself these days especially on a dark and dreary day like today!
In the photo above is a quilt for my youngest niece. My mom pieced it and I decided after the two years it has been hanging in my mom's closet, it needs to get done before my nieces becomes to old for it!
Promise to have photos of it when it is finally quilted.
Hexey MF QAL progress is a bit farther than what I thought it was.
Matter of fact I am back to the basting process.
After all, all the 600 bulk pack that I bought from www.paperpieces.com, which is currently being occupied at the moment.
Therefore, I have to make a hexey flower and then take out the center as I go and then place the center of that flower onto the next needed basting piece.
Baking, blogging, and trying to avoid housecleaning!!!!
But as much I as I want to avoid it, it is staring me hard in the face saying: Ahmemmm, excuse me but when are you going to get this all done?
Oh, the bread up there is a banana and apple bread, which is a result of cleaning out the refrigerator and using up anything that needed to go.
However, I did have a finish over the weekend and I got in the mail yesterday.
FYI: This quilt fits into a medium flat rate box just fine!
The quilt is White Stars from Julie Herman's new book, Skip the Borders.
Fabrics are a mix of Kona and Bella solids with a splash of Tula Pink thrown in there in too!
Speaking of fabrics the Fat Quarter Shop is sponsoring My Style Giveaway over on my blog and the winner will receive a Marmalade charm pack by Bonnie and Camille for Moda Fabrics.
Feel free to check it out and best of luck!
