gh quilting -Last Day of School Giveaway!

This giveaway is now closed!

Last Day

Yay its the last day of school and I could not be more thrilled!

My husband thought that I was odd for looking forward to the last day of school.

He said to me majority of mom's cringe at the idea of summer break.

And I said; that I like my daughter!

Grant it I like the routine but I am like my daughter and any other kid who is looking forward to the carefree days of summer. Trust me come August, my daughter and I will be glad to have the school routine back again.

All right to celebrate this occasion I have a very small giveaway.

Small blog, small give away!
I know, I know  it sounds really corny to sponsor myself but when I started this new blog I thought to myself; "If no one else wants to sponsor me besides Kim, I will!"

You have to believe in yourself too!

Here is what is up for grabs:

A candy bar 42- 2 1/2" x 4" (no going to the thighs here)  pack of Kate Spain's Fandango and one fat quarter to match.

Last day 1

I know Fandango has been out so long ago but I know there were a lot of you out there that loved it and still did not get a chance at it.

Or really loved it and would love to have some more!

So here is your chance to win it!

This is open for any one to enter.
Yes, that includes all of you across the pond and beyond too!

The rules are simple:

Leave a comment on this post and only this post telling me what you loved most about the last day of school!

Make sure you are not a no-reply blogger and be sure I can contact you via email.

I will pick the best comment that I like on June my high school graduation day!

"Pick me" will not be picked! By the way.

 Not using Mr. Random Generator????

*Sigh,* No cause you can rig it!

Trust me I have played around with the darn thing to know!
Best of luck!

Wow. I may be too old to remember my own last days of school very clearly. But I guess last day of high school was maybe the best, and I do remember it very well because we had a Senior Breakfast where we got our caps and gowns and signed yearbooks. I just remember that everyone was so happy and really nice to each other. Even girls that I only marginally knew or got along with - we were hugging and laughing and crying. That was how I felt in my heart that High School was REALLY over, because all those High School politics and insecurities felt like they just lifted of the crowd of us and flew away.

p.s. my own daughter graduates on June 15th, 2012!

My sons last day of kindergarten was last Friday. My favorite part was he was so excited to be done, but on the way home was so sad that it was over. He realized that he would not see his friends and teachers everyday. It's just so amazing to see them learning all the time.

The last day of school means my daughter is back to spending her days with us. I can't wait! My oldest daughters first year of school finishes tomorrow and I couldn't be more proud of the things shes done. I am constantly amazed at how much she's changed and grown in such a short time however, I can't wait to watch her and her little sisters enjoy lazy summer days together.

The most exciting part of the last day of school for me as a student was looking ahead to great days at the swimming hole and more time with my BFF (my sister). The most exciting part of the last day of school for me as a teacher was knowing that my time would be my own for six weeks (no papers to grade or lessons to plan). Now, the most exciting part of the last day of school is that my niece will pick up the grandniece and NO KID SITTING Thursday. Freedom! Strange how one day of kid sitting morphed into four days of two kids sitting.
I'm one of those who is fandango-less. Those little minis look very cute. Thanks for the chance. mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com

My children have all left school now but like you I looked forward to the end of term because I loved having them all at home! I still look forward to them coming home even though they're at uni now!
I found you via your fabulous MBS project and I'm now your newest follower!

I always liked getting autographs in my yearbook on the last day of school. We were not much good for anything requiring more concentration than that!

My most recent "last day of school" was when my oldest son received his PhD in history from Berkeley. I was so proud of him and all the effort he has put forth to receive this degree. Then the wait was on. Will he find a good job? Several interviews later, he did! I think this was my favorite and most exciting last day of school ever!
